RAZR will not turn on, white light

Thank you for all of the help- I know this is a little late, but I have been using the power & volume down button for quite a while. My phone, although on the charger, stopped charging during the night for some reason. I used a different charger to charge it up and it worked fine again. However, some  times when I am using Pandora on my phone, it will shut itself off and restart. No big deal as it restarts itself! lol Smiley Happy

I will run my phones down to the point that it shuts off, then I will charge it up while the phone is off. I do this about once every 4-6 weeks, and it seems to help the battery life. I did this while I had my Fascinate, and I have continued to do this with my MAXX.

OK, I am too getting the white light, but I have done the soft reboot, and taken it to the store. But my phone continues to reboot on its own, over and over. Why did it just randomly start doing this?

have you tried a factory data reset? Painful I know but better than suffering through those reboots..

Mine did the same thing on the morning of the 28th.  Was working fine text messaging.  Would not come on I tried a soft boot.  Luckily my phone was only 8 days old.  Two days prior to that my phone was in my pocket got really hot, enough to blister the back clear plastic and the need to remove it from my pocket.  My new phone should be delivered where I am at today or Monday.

What apps have you installed lately? You could try starting the phone in SAFE MODE to see.

I had this phone for 1 month....1 month..phone just turns off....now can't boot up, I called verizon, they said they would call back....never did....used the charger that came with it....got it to turn on but guess what....it turned off again....did research and tried various reboot methods....finally took it to the store to get a replacement shipped....everything else was great with the phone but this is a MAJOR, MAJOR issue....when I get the replacement I will post....but very disappointed....in my business I cannot have a phone that just turns off...not a good sign

I Have Had The Sam issue. When I Charge My phone I Use The Usb And Charge It In a Usb port on my computer or tv or something. I Found out that they do not have enough energy to charge it ass well as its needed i plugged it into my wall outlet and now the white light is gone and it powered on.

Stick to what you said in your last sentence, turn it off and charge it for about 3 to 4 hours and you'll be good. When it get's down to the red indicator again do er again and give Circle Battery App  &  System Panel App a try there both good Apps..Smiley Happy b33
