RAZR M stock camera app crashing phone

I just got a new RAZR M and everything was pretty awesome until I tried to take a picture. The camera application launches and shows some buttons, but the phone is then frozen and reboots fairly quickly. I tried clearing the data for the camera application but the same crash keeps happening. I launched the phone in safe mode and experienced the same issue. I did a factory data reset and experienced the same issue. I tried downloading a third party camera application and it crashed there too. Is it a lemon? Any other ideas to try?

Did you Soft Reset:  i guess you could try that as you have covered about every thing else) And it might be the Sim Card i'd try the Soft Reset and if does not fixit then i would Get Another Sim Card and i if you do Make sure you handle it with care and Hold it by it's Edges when inserting it..

Thanks for the suggestions. Soft reset didn't fix the problem, removed the SIM card and that didn't fix the problem, and also wiped the cache partition and that didn't fix the problem.

If it crashed in Safe Mode and crashed after a factory reset then all that is left is to take it back (or send it back) for a new replacement before your 14 days are up.  With all that you have tried it's looking like a hardware problem.

Yep sounds like hardware problem, my cam app works flawlessly. No crashes.

Yea it's time to Take it back and get another New one Don't mess with it any Longer) in-less you want to go with another one a "M" i would Go with Maxx like i have i haven't had any issues with my Two and the one i have had for little over 9 months Now.. but i would take it Back especially if you not past the 14 day return..

Thanks for the replies all. I brought it to a Verizon corporate store today and they were able to give me a different one and it works flawlessly. Love my RAZR M!
