Play Store Issues

I'm having the following issues, which are also inconsistent:

- Play Store spontaneously closes when I select the Install button on apps over 50MB after deselecting the pop up screen which prompts users to only use WiFi to download large apps.

- Apps that this issue occurs when, when they are eventually downloaded, will spontaneously uninstall themselves, but the icon on my home screen remains.

Is anyone else experiencing these or other issues?  Please post with any Play Store issues you are experiencing, work arounds or fixes.

Have you checked the Play Store help or contact the developers of the application? They would be more familiar with any issues with the application.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

My Suggestion would be Tap Menu-->settings-->Applications--> Manage Applications--> Choose Downloaded and go to the Play-Store app and Clear the Cache and Data: Tap the Home then do a Soft Reset the phone will power itself Go back into the Play-Store app Except the Terms see if that clears it up..

B33, are these instructions for GB or ICS? I have ICS, and there is no Manage Applications, and the app is called Google Play Store, just in case someone looks for just Play Store...

@ Droid Usrr - Menu-->Manage Apps-->Google Play Store, there you can clear data & cache.

Android is beginning to be like Windows is... Meaning that there are many ways to get to the same place. I completely forgot the menu option on the home screen to get to manage apps.

This is for GB. ICS says "apps" and there is no way to enter Play Store from here. Play store should be one of those bad, bad preinstalled apps that you can not delete. You should be able to get into the store by opening the apps drawer and tapping on it.
