I know it's Christmas Eve, but I still need a working phone. I've been on hold with Verizon Wireless for over an hour already via Skype.
My phone was having delay problems so I turned it off and now it won't turn on at all. No lights, no battery indicator, no sound - it's just dead. I tried powering on by pressing the power button along with the volume up (and volume down) but still nothing happens.
Since I can't seem to get an agent to answer, does anyone have any suggestions?
Are you sure your phone battery is not dead and is charged? Is your charger/cable combination working properly? Did you hold the Volume Down and Power buttons for 10-20 seconds? Did your phone power up?
Can you get to the Boot Mode Selection Menu by holding both the Volume UP and Down buttons and the Power button for about 10 seconds? Did your phone power up?

No, the battery wasn't dead and it still had about 50% charge before it died. I did charge it overnight and it still did not power up no matter what buttons I pushed. I held down the volume up and down along with the power button and it did nothing = black screen with no lights at all.
I resorted to calling Verizon tech support again in the morning (by using Skype on my laptop) and they are sending me a replacement phone since mine was still under warranty. Thank you for your response.
This was the first Christmas that I've ever been phoneless.
