Phone Won't Turn On

I have a Droid Razr..I've had this phone since late August now and I've always used my old LG Octane charger because the charger that came with my phone has a USB port that plugs into a box that plugs into the wall...too many pieces & they pop apart. Anyways, my LG Octane charger has recently somehow become bent on the end so it won't stay in my phone well. It does however, charge my phone if situated a certain wait. Last night my phone wouldn't charge with this charger, though, and is now dead. I have tried charging my phone with the charger that came in my Droid box and it still won't charge. So then, I hooked it up to the computer and now a white light has appeared in the upper left hand corner of the screen, but it will STILL not turn on. I've tried the reboot where you hold down the power button and the higher volume button for 3 times now, twice for ten seconds, once for thirty seconds. Could my phone be doing updates I'm behind on? I enable my background data once a week to check for updates and I haven't noticed any regarding my actual phone-only apps-lately. This happened to my friend with her LG Lucid; it turned off all day then was updated when it finally came back on. Could that be my problem?

Use a good charger and cable, plug the phone into a good/powered wall receptacle for 2-4 hours.  Then turn it on by holding the Volume down button and the power button at the same time for 10-15 seconds.  USB may not charge the phone if it is completely discharged.  If this doe not work, call Verizon if you are still under warranty or call Motorola to see about battery replacement.
