I have had my Razr Maxx HD for a week now. I come from a Droid 3. I am wanting to customize my notification tone but cannot figure it out. I have searched everywhere to try and find a way. I can use the tone I want as a ringtone but not as a notification tone! I am so frustrated!

How do I setup and use notification tones?
Follow the steps listed below to setup and use notification tones.
Choose Phone ringtones through settings menu:
- 1. From the home screen touch
- Touch Settings
- Touch Sound
- Touch Phone ringtone (If option is greyed out, make sure handset volume is not set to Silent Mode)
- Select a Phone ringtone from the list. Touch OK to set.
Customize the text message ringtone
- 1. From the home screen touch
- Touch Text messaging
- Touch Menu
- Touch Settings
- Touch Select ringtones
- Touch on any Notification ringtone to select and hear a sample.
- Touch OK to set as notification ringtone
Loading your own custom ringtone for Text Messages
Connect the supplied USB cable into your device, then into your windows computer and Drag and drop your audio files to the Notifications folder. (XT926\Internal Storage\Notifications).
