We have 2 droid Razr 4G phones in our household. We previously got limited service as we aree in a weak signal location. Bought a booster....3 weeks ago we lost all signal and Verizon is unable to explain why. Our friend who uses Verizon also, has an Iphone 3G and gets 5 bars at our home. We use her phone to call customer service, to be on the line for an hour at a time, to get no resolution. At this point I feel Verizon could care less about us. They say it is impossible for another Verizon user to get signal while we don't and they say the Razrs have a better signal than the Iphone. Frustrated and ready to go to AT&T. They had one of us download a whole new something......and we lost all contacts, photos etc....and still no signal. The booster does not even recognize a GPS signal. Verizon SUCKS!
I've got the exact same issue. Out of nowhere(seemingly)my radio just went to crap. I heard about and installed the 'Restore Connectivity' app from motorola and am hoping that it will help, it's available in the 'Play Store'(stupid name). There is a known issue w/the Razr family that they are not publicising. Try that app and see if it works for you...
The App Works allot like.! the Soft Rest.. there are apps in the Market that can Restore Connectivity as Well..
Unfortunately tried the "restore connectivity" app last night....still no cell service. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I also noticed an issue with my Razr Maxx... I am beyond my 14 day period as well so I am stuck with it now, service was good at the beginning now a month in I have terrible reception , I am also in a 4g area, and they better do something or I am gone and taking my company and all 200+ lines with me, $4,000 a month on VZW and the network is down more than its up
