I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be not to have your email delivered to your phone. I have had phone issues like that before.  Here are some different step by step instructions for you to take to manage your email accounts.  I hope these help. Thanks.

Add Email account

From the home screen, tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts
Tap Add Account
Tap desired mail provider, if not shown select "Other"
Enter Email address
Enter Password
Tap Next
Settings will auto configure

Remove Email account

From the home screen, tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts
Tap desired account to be removed
Tap Remove Account

Adding a Google account (Gmail)

From the home screen, tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts
Tap Add Account
Tap Google
Display shows Gmail sign in, enter Email address and password, tap Next.
The phone communicates with the Google server to set up your account. When complete, your Google account
appears in the Manage accounts area of the Accounts & sync screen.

Adding a Corporate account (Exchange)

From the home screen, tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts
Tap Add account
Tap Corporate Sync
At the Set up email screen, enter your Email address and Password, then touch Next.
At the Exchange Server settings screen, enter server settings (Domain \ Username Password) Exchange Server, then touch Next.
The phone communicates with the server to confirm your account.
If needed, check the appropriate SSL settings are enabled, select Next
At the Account options screen, select account settings, then touch Next.
At the Set up email screen, enter a name for the account  (this name will display on screen), and enter your name to
appear on outgoing messages. Touch Done to complete set-up.
Your Corporate account appears in the Manage accounts area of the Accounts & sync screen, and in the Email
application

Managing a Corporate Exchange account

From the Home screen, touch Menu
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts
Tap your Corporate account to display settings, then touch Account settings for these settings:

  • General settings
  • Notification settings
  • Server settings
