Has anyone heard the current anticipated release for the update to ICS? First we heard July, then sometime in August, then Labor day, next sometime in September. Like everyone else I have been having problems since ICS. Battery problems, screen locking up, texts not going thru (either way), and many other issues. I don't really care if the update is Jelly Bean, I just want a fix for the numerous problems. I want a phone that works. I know this is a Android problem because numerous friends using other carriers are having the identical problems with their Android phones.
Hello alflease- I read on the Motorola forum yesterday one of the moderators said he heard the fix would be coming out this month. Someone also posted a comment that he was talking with Verizon's customer service and they told him it was coming soon. But you know how that goes. Also, I read that the Razr may get Jelly Bean by the end of the year. If that is true, Moto probably won't be concerned about pushing out a fix for ICS. But that's just my thinking. My battery doesn't last as long as it should however I setup a smart action to help. Other than that I am lucky as I don't have any other problems with my Maxx. If the battery was as good as Motorola advertised, it would be perfect. But I still love the phone.
