@commonsense101:  You're kidding right?  This will bring numerous advancements and features.  Here is just a short-list of improvements:

-Enhanced voice commands

-Better browser (Chrome) with more options

-Data Manager to track usage

-Camera app improvements

-Email app enhancements

-Native screenshot capability

-Quicker and smoother folder/screen navigation with more options

-Improved copy-n-paste functions

-Face Recognition

I've spent a significant amount of time with ICS on my friend's phone, and what I can say is that it brings much to the table.  ICS also takes many of the good qualities of Honeycomb (tablet OS) and incorporates them into one OS that's made for both phones and tablets (no more one OS for phones and another for tablets).  Gingerbread on my Maxx is and has been an extremely stable OS and I'm happy with it, but I'm certainly looking forward to this upgrade.  It's not a mandatory upgrade if you don't want it, but make no mistake...the time is near and ICS will indeed arrive sooner than you're wiling to believe for the Razr/Maxx.
