I understand the importance of receiving the entire text message chpos60! Try to clear your text message data by: Settings>Applications>All>Text Message>Clear cache/data. Additionally, clear the text message thread entirely and test out again! Have the sender and yourself save the phone number 1 the area code mobile number and test out.

No, I do not know. However, I do know that the procedure below that VZW support recommends to solve this issue, won't solve this issue.
" Try deleting your text threads and clearing the cache and data on the text message application. You can do so by navigating to Settings>Applications>All>Text Message>Clear cache/data."
