My phone was going dead, so I plugged it into the wall charger like any other night. As soon as I plugged it in, the screen went black and wouldn't turn back on. I've tried all of the things I've found, like holding the lock button with the up volume button, then the lock button with the down volume button, and finally the lock button with both volume buttons and nothing has worked. The white light isn't on unless I unplug my phone. Someone please help.

I guess leave it plugged in until fully charged and then try all those button combinations again...it may just be that the battery went to zero charge.

You did try many things we would have had you do, lynneaeileen. If you have done all of that & made sure the device is in fact charging, the only thing to do would be replacing the phone. We would need to do that since we aren't able to remove or test the battery.
If the battery is completely dead, it may take a while for it to get enough "juice" to have power on again.
You can also try a soft reset http://bit.ly/PLtWM9 as well.
