I am in Singapore and have a Starhub prepaid SIM card. I cannot access wifi although it is visible on my network list. Do you now if I have to change any settings?

Hi, I am in Singapore and have a Starhub prepaid SIM card. I am a Verizon (US) customer but want to access WiFi. My device shows being connected but I cannot access wifi. Do you know if I have to change any settings to access wifi on a SIM card?
