How is the earpiece

How is the sound quality on the Maxx? I have noticed I have trouble hearing on some phones. Now today's online special sounds so good, I might just jump at it!  Played with the Maxx at the store last night then they tried to talk me into the new Samsung Galaxy. But its the battery life on the Maxx that got me hooked.

I don't have the Maxx, but the Droid Razr which the same except for the battery.  I have no problems at all hearing or with the sound quality.

I have the Maxx, in my experience the earpiece call quality is the clearest I have ever experienced on any cell phone I have owned to date, and the earpiece call volume is adequate. It's the speakerphone volume on the phone which on my Maxx is lower volume on max volume than my last smartphone at half volume. I suggest if you are near a vzw store to go in and try the various phones out you are considering to help you try to make your decision.

I have that headset, B33.  It's called the Motorola Elite Sliver and it's VERY nice!  Works well and you hardly can see it.  I'm amazed it even works! But it does - and well!

For music, where I want stereo, I use the LG HBS 700.  It's so lightweight you forget you have it on.  Really nice!

Salley i was told at the Local Store you can use ( Motorola  M.S.E.)  for play music as well is this True an i was wondering does it have a nice & soft tone or Sound to it. Why i ask my Ears are Sensitive an if the sound has a real high pitch it just drives my Ears Nuts i have been using A > H500 witch to Many would be Considered as a Antique i guess my motto is if it not broke or it still works keep using it an i actually have a brand new H500 that i bought when Alltel put them on Clearance i got a Steal on that one $20.00 bucks . But i am looking for something different an i want to play music Thru them. The ones you put on here look cool as Well. Smiley Happy  thanks B33

You can listen to music through either one but obviously you don't get the surround sound feel with the MSE since it's only in one ear.  As far as the sound, the LG's have some built in EQ's you can change by pressing both volume buttons but I don't do that.  I don't know about the MSE but if you get that I would also get the My MotoSpeak app for free at the Market.

My ears aren't sensitive so just because I have no problem it doesn't mean you won't.  I would buy from Amazon if you can because they are very good about returns. I bought the Motorola S10-HD and couldn't stand the way they felt - too tight.  I just sent them back and got a full refund.  I'm a big Amazon fan.
