I have selected my Outlook Exchange account to sync contacts and turned off all others (Cloud, Google, etc.). The problem is it won't allow me to select which contact list within my Exchange account, which then brings in 1000's of unwanted contacts onto my phone. When I try to customize, I still get 1000's of unwanted contacts. I don't remember having this problem with my old Razor HD Maxx.
Contacts are key LC_Ag91. I depend on mine to keep connected. Based on the information you've given, since it is an Outlook Exchange server, it sounds as if your employer may have control over how the contacts are synched. In that case, you will want to reach out to them.
