First, have you asked your "Corporate" IT group for help? That may be the place to start.
Secondly, if IT is of no help what are "all the directions" that are you following? Be specific. Are you using the stock Email app? Trying to set up the account manually or automatically? If manually do you know all the port addresses, server names, and security types that you are using? POP3 or IMAP?
Thirdly, a common mistake is using "name" instead of "name@xxxx.com" for your username when setting up the email.

Thank you, Breezex. I am using the stock app and need to sync email, calendar and contacts. This is an exchange set-up. I have tried both manually and automatically. I tried the various options for security. And I am having the same problem with my personal email set-up in a POP account. It must be something I am not going correctly.

Take a look at:

and see if it helps.
For your personal email account you may want to do a Google search on "android email setup your_isp" (e.g. android email setup charter)

Jadoftexas, let's get your emails working on your RAZR! It sounds like the email settings may be incorrect. As breezex mentioned, you'll need the email settings from your company. For your POP account, what type of email account is this (Yahoo, MSN, Comcast)? Here is a list to some common email accounts and the specific settings for Motorola http://bit.ly/V2p2P8.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Nice platitudes but even with correct information, error still exists. Searches of internet show this is a widespread and apparent random problem, affecting even people as same companies i.e. one employe can cannot and next cannot.
