Help! Droid Razr Maxx wont start up

I turned off my phone when it was at 60% power then tried to turn it back on and it didn't work. I looked online and attempted to solve this problem. I plugged my phone into a wall charger and left it there for like an hour then I tried to soft reset it (hold power + volume down key) like 12 times for a minute each. I don't know what to do anymore because my phone was working fine then it just suddenly wasn't. Please help me!

greghnan look no further, help is here! I'm sorry to hear of the trouble you're experiencing but we'll do everything we can to get your phone back in action! Share the details, are you using the manfacturer's charger that came with the device? When you plug the phone into the charger, does any lights or indicators come on the device? In effort to see if an app is causing the trouble, try running the device in Safe Mode http://vz.to/1n92QeF

Sorry for the late response but my internet was down. When I try to safe boot my droid with the volume down and power buttons, my notification bar flashes but fails to start my phone. It only flashes if my phone is plugged in and I try to safe boot it. I can't turn the device on at all.

Greghnan & Kristylea80,

Ensure it is fully charged, unplugged from the charger, hold the volumes up & down & power buttons until you see the screen flash (may just be a green line flash) and let go. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes ensure it has started to boot. If that doesn't work, trying removing the SD card and/or the SIM card and boot. Good luck! report back if you get it to boot.

mine is charged, the notification light is blinking purple like i got an email, but i can't get the phone to light up screen or anything. i tried the sim card removal, tried to get it to reboot with the side buttons, everything. wish i could get battery out... i'm taking it to the verizon store after work. hopefully they have something they can do. the phone seems to be "stuck" with the screen turned off. it's definitely on, the notification light blinks. just doesn't do anything ELSE. Smiley Sad

greghnan - Thank you for responding back with these details. SoccerRef12 offered some additional great troubleshooting steps. Have you tested these out to see if you are able to power your device back up like normal? If it does not power back up, let us know so we may look at all available options to help assist.

Thank you greghnan, and everyone that has messaged.

I want to help get that device awake kristylea80! Thanks for trying the SIM pull. Did you also have the opportunity to try an alternate reset like SoccerRef12 had suggested? Here's a link to assist you. http://vz.to/18wzOCi

No, thanks for the fix -SoccerRef12 but, it didn't help me. When I unplug my device and try to safe reset or boot it like normal no notification color pops up and the boot up screen doesn't start still.

Is there anything I should do or should I take it to a professional to fix?
