Hello all,
I recently downloaded the Jelly Bean update (4.1.2) for my Droid Razr Maxx. I was looking forward to using Google Now, but I cant't do this.
I originally signed onto the phone with my school gmail apps account, which doesn't allow web history. However, I created a new independent gmail account with Web History enabled and I still can't figure it out.
I'm using Nova Launcher Prime, btw. I try to place the Now widget on a home screen, and it says "Google Now is not available in your country" (I'm in the US, phone language is English US, primary keyboard inputs are English US)
If I use the stock Homescreen, there isn't even a Google Now widget available. I tried turning on Location Services, powering off phone, replacing widget, didn't make a difference. Can anyone help?

Why is everyone talking about just getting Jellybean? I have had it for months? Have I missed something?

The original DROID Razr and DROID Razr Maxx are getting their Jelly Bean update right now. If you have the HD series of DROID Razr then you would have had it for a while now.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
