I am sitting here looking at www.androidcentral.com/verizon-drops-fees-droid-turbo-will-replace-broken-screen-free-once/ and I fit the profile of a customer described therein. But when I called the Verizon store in which I bought my phone (within the two year contract life), they claimed to have no idea what I was referring to, and suggested I contact Motorola. Motorola said sorry, nothing past 1 yr. Without extended warranty. What gives. Did I call the wrong Verizon store, or is everyone in California inept/apathetic?
It's a Verizon Wireless screen assurance program for the Droid Turbo, and technically you don't get the screen replaced; they provide you with a Certified Like-New Replacement device. You're supposed to contact Customer Service or a Corporate store to order the replacement. Maybe the store you purchased it from isn't a Corporate store? More info. can be found here:
