Favorities Tray Problem ICS

All of my Apps in the Favorites Tray disappear every time I re-power my phone except for "Apps" and the right most App in the tray. I can place them there again and again, but they never appear after re-powering. The only thing unusual I have done is placing the Google Navigation Widget in the tray the first time through. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have the same problem on my Razr Maxx - immediately after the ICS update, the Phone and Text apps were missing from Favorites, I replace them only to lose them again after power down/power up.

I tried to To troble shoot the Issue and Had Know issue when i Moved an app out the Favorite Tray: i moved the Text Message up on the main and pulled the Browser app Down in the Favorites and it stayed when i powered of and Powered back on.. One thing that might have to be is that there is Enough Space when you Move the An App down and Move 1 or 2 Up...

I never tried changing the favorite apps - they just disappeared, and were missing after the ICS upgrade.  I even tried tapping the blank space in case they were invisible for some reason.  I replace the missing ones in the blank space, and they are fine w/o powering down, but they are gone again after rebooting.  At first it was the Phone and Text apps missing, but last time the Camera one disappeared also.  Very frustrating!

Now some of the old apps & widgets were replaced with new ones the Widgets are accessible by going to the Main apps tray and there on the Top of the Tray..

I have no problem finding and replacing the Phone, Text, and Camera widgets, I'd just like them to stay in the favorites tray after power down/up.

I understand that would be Frustrating you might Try running your phone in safe mode From the way it sounds. Your Apps moving around there might be one that's play Possum and causing the others to Jump Around. I can't say it's a For Sure case but it don't hurt to give safe mode a try to a least isolate the issue..

Have you tried clearing the system/dalvik cache?

To wipe the cache on a droid razr that is NOT rooted:

1. Turn the phone off
2. Press and hold the power button and that vol up AND vol down keys all at the same time untill it loads into the screen where you can select "recovery"
3. Use the vol down key to highlight "recovery" then use the vol up key to select it
4. Wait for it to boot up (not pressing anything) untill you see an Android and a ! Inside of a triangle.
5. Once that screen appears, press the vol up and vol down key at the same time
6. It should load the recovery menu, press the vol down key to get down to "wipe cache" then use the power key to select it
7. When it is done, go to "reboot system now" and select it with the power key.

I am having the same issue and it does not have to be powering down. It happens sometimes when I open my browser and then come back to my home screen. Happens sometimes when I open Facebook. Happens when I play a game. It's hit or miss, but very annoying to contantly have to add those back to my favorites tray. I have tried moving the apps from the card to the phone because it seems there are some conflicts when you try and move an app to the card. A screen will pop up letting you know that an issue could occur. So I tried to narrow it down by what app I was in. For example, when I opened my browser and then came back to home screen and the favorites were gone (as mentioned above, apps and camera remain). I had added my text, phone and contacts. All gone and had to go back in apps and drag them back over.

I had read somewhere online - in another forum - that there was supposed to be an ICS update to fix some bugs like this one in particular ... but I have yet to see it. Please let us know if something else is discovered.

Thanks!
