That's a strange one, it looks like all drivers are installed that is needed, I am surprised you are still having issues... Is the bluetooth you are using a usb dongle or a built-in bluetooth unit?

It’s a USB dongle. I’m guessing you think that’s the problem?

Mine is a generic USB as well. "Generic" is really a misnomer, the radios are pretty much all made by the same companies - it's how they're packaged and marketed. I bought 3-4 of the ones I have for like $3 a pop and it works...but the key for me was doing the windows Mobile Device Center install - nothing working until then.

Oh and, what program/method are you using to attempt the transfer?

No, I am using a dongle now and it works flawless but I have had issues with some internal BT cards, but this isnt your case..
Smash Ogre question is a good question to ask, what program/method are you using to attempt the transfer?

The process doesn’t get that far. My phone will pair with my pc but it will not connect. I believe transfer software would come into play only after the two devices are able to connect.

So, on the phone when you open BT connection properties the computer is or is not listed in oaired devices? Is the phone listed under BT devices on the computer?
