Droid Turbo And MyFordTouch

Whenever I send or receive a text message while my Turbo is bluetooth-connected to my 2011 Ford Edge with MyFordTouch the Bluetooth stack on the phone crashes and the phone disconnects from MyFordTouch.  Sometimes it re-connects....Argh!

You may have to get the firmware/software updated for your vehicles myfordtouch system.  Because this is a newer phone, your system may not support the Droid Turbo's bluetooth capabilities.  If you can't do this yourself, you may need to have a dealer install it.  Check this website and see if an update is available for your vehicle:

I have a 2014 explorer with My Ford touch with the same issue. My phone just drops from bluetooth and it will not reconnect. My S4 and LGg2 do not have this problem...so it's not my car Verizon.
