Droid Razr issues

Member

I have just been upgraded to the Droid Razr Maxx due to battery issues on 3 different units. I had multiple accessories for the Razr and was told by the 611 operator that I would have to sell the used items I have and get my own again. I already paid a good price for my Otter Box for the razr and i will be lucky to sell if for 20. I cannot understand when a customer keeps there billing up to date and causes no trouble why I would be told basically that I am SOL. This has got to be a major pet peeve of mine I spend well over 250 a month for 4 lines. While I am the only one working from my househould and cannot afford to go and re buy accessories. this is a total disappointment. The reps at store were great at getting me the help I need I just expected more from the VXW call center.

It's the bane of smartphone owners. I don't know how tightly the otterbox fits against the chassis, have you tried it on the Maxx? Same phone internall albeit with a different external profile due to the monster battery...

Yeah it will not fit at all the differences are quite large. I had them compare notes about it. I am just disappointed that they went that way with me. They are starting to act like TMobile in my personal opinion

They exchanged my Razr for a new Maxx as well after 4 bad ones. I just have the body glove style two-piece shell/hoslter that I got off of Amazon for $10 as opposed to the $29.99 that VZW wanted. I was pretty pleased that they swapped me for a new phone though, never looked back.

I don't feel too bad then, I went through 4 original razr phones before they sent me the maxx. I honestly didn't think my luck was that bad.. I use the silicone black case and it fits on the maxx, its not a perfect fit of course but it is functional..

Think of it this way, you got a phone that should have cost you $100 more than what you paid originally...

B33, I just got a PureGear case for my Maxx. It has a built in kickstand. I love it. It was $15 bucks.
