Hi,

I am trying to find out if anyone has found a resolution to the WIFI/Bluetooth issue that the update for DROID MAXX has caused. I am having this issue and burning through my data when i am home and have a WIFI network...

Thanks,

Cannot connect to home network any longer, huge battery drain, fuzzy pictures.  KitKat has made a perfect phone nothing but problematic. And you cannot uninstall KitKat.  Give us back JellyBean.

CKB1 lets bring the love back to your device! Are you able to connect to any other Wi Fi network? Are you using the manufacturer's charger? Is the picture fuzzy when taking it or once in the gallery?

You should set security through your home internet router. It is very easy to do if you don't know how just ask and I can give you all the info. It will connect at that point.

Was this resolved? If so can you tell me how?   I have shut off my phone, done everything everyone else was told to do.  I had wifi all set up and work and home and bluetooth set up for my truck and bluetooth speaker and now I have nothing.

leeannkr We appreicate you trying those steps! When you say, now there's nothing, what exactly is this referring to? Are you still having issues with wifi/bluetooth or is it that the phone is not working altogether?

I started having the same issue no bluetooth or wifi connections of any kind and find it funny that with all the negative post on this and alll other message board since late may that Verizon nor Moto has came out with any fix.  And the best part is that if you google " my wifi and bluetooth stopped working" you get multiple Verizon techs responding with the exact canned response and never will you find a solution.  Better yet if you call or go in to a Verizon store the rep acts like he has never heard about the issue. This is why I can not wait till my contract is over.  Ridicules over charging prices, the worse and most clueless  tech support in the world.

I totally agree!! Ever since the update, my phone has had nothing but problems and Verizon refuses to do anything but send me another one which does the same thing! Does your charger overheat as well?
