This Morning started for me as any typical morning does but it soon changed a little.! Here we Go i put my Maxx on the Charger as i have done many times as the battery was low an the red indicator started flashing. It showed it was charging so as i've done in the past i took a Snooze for about 6 hours an this is the typical amount of time it takes to charge the Maxx. But when i woke up at 11:30am an went to check on Maxx it still showed 0 an i thought What! an few choice words there after is going on here..I checked my charger my other chargers an the Belkin power strip they were Connected to All was Fine..
But when Maxx was done charging an i turned it on there were No 3G just bars at first even the Wi-Fi wouldn't work so i flushed a couple apps that i thought was the culprit of the issue. But i still did not get the 3G so i did a Cache Clear of a few apps. A few soft resets an still No 3G my red hair that is usually one color was starting to change to another color a Funny gesture it may be i was a little furious as Nothing was working. So Before i did a Sim pull or a F.R. I did the one thing that has been done on here i asked for a little help & Called Tech Services! An found out something i Did Not know could Happen but did on me an Might on your Device.
About 3 weeks ago SallyC or some on the Forum Mentioned the Data Enable Setting a Setting that is not on my Droid X But is Definitely on the Maxx this setting was also on the Droid Incredible. But any way back to what i am wanting say is i had this Setting fully Checked an the background data as well. But this setting can get disable by the Device itself Meaning it can Un-check itself Strange as it sounds it can an the Tier 2 i talked to tonight said it has happened to many Motorola Droid Owners that has the Bionic, The Droid 4 the Razr & Razr Maxx.
So if you for some reason you cannot get your 4G or 3G to come on say after it was on Wi-Fi or Airplain Mode or you just shut your Razr / Razr Maxx off for the Night to Charge it or get some piece an Quite from it all including the Cell phone check this feature & the setting first or at least make it your next thing to check on your priority List after you have looked over every thing Else..
Thanks to All that read this and i hope your not faced with this Situation But if you are Just Remember to Check the Data Enable Setting Because there might just be a Gremlin in there that has changed it For Ya!

I wanted to Add to My Post that even if you Fully Check the Data Enable it will Un-check itself when Using Wi-Fi: I have been streaming Winamp for a while an i wanted to check to see if the setting was checked or Not it was not Checked. So keep on on your toes on this one an you should be fine.. Written by b33
