Is there a way to make the touchscreen more responsive?  The screen on the Droid 2 Global only responds about half the time unless I really pound it.  Sometimes I have to stop using it because the tip of my finger hurts from trying to get a response.

The Motorola Droid 2 Global (A956) uses capacitive multi-touch technology. Screen calibration is not supported at this time.

Thanks

No, there is no sensitivity adjustment.

Are you by chance using a screen protector? With capacitive screens there shouldn't be a "hardness" of touch component involved. They actually work by collecting electrons transfered from your skin to the screen (or vice versa) so you shouldn't have to "pound" the screen.

I'd say take it to a local store and have someone take a look. This doesn't sound right to me.

Thanks.  The salesperson at the Verizon store put one on and I thought that might be the problem but that does not explain why the four buttons at the bottom are also sluggish as they are not covered by the protector (pounding does seem to make these four buttons work but it's tough on the finger tips).  I think I had best go back to the store.  Thanks again for your help.
