snapped/broke off micro SD card in phone--how to remove remainder

In trying to remove the micro SD card, the card snapped off---there isn't enough of the card still protruding to pull/slide it out.  I took out the two, very small, Torx screws as you look at the back of the phone---thinking that would give a little play in the plastic above the card slot, but it didn't.  Not really sure the purpose of those two screws, as it didn't seem to allow anything to come apart.

Any suggestions on how I can get the remaining piece of card out of the slot?

Thanks.

I had this happen to me with a computer once. It took a mixture of tweezers and shaking the computer to get it out

In all my years I have never seen something like that done.

I think this is one of those cases where you just chock it up to a huge mistake and pay for a new one.

You can probably find further disassembly guides on Google.

I will show my wife your post---she was trying to pull my SD card out with tweezers, without removing my extended life battery.  The tweezer deal worked okay with her phone, as she has the regular battery---she didn't realize my battery is a little thicker.

I did Google this issue, but haven't found anything helpful yet.

Google Droid X disassembly

With the backpiece off you should be able to have more of the remaining SD card exposed.
