I have had problems getting emails on my droid x. I have 3 different accounts and they are set to fetch every 15 minutes. At times, phone will not get emails unless I refresh or shut off and turn on again. Verizon cannot help-they sent me a replacement phone which I have been setting up all day and it has the same problem. Any ideas?

I haven't encountered this problem, but you could try forwarding 2 of your accounts to your 3rd, and just setting that 3rd one to fetch every 15 minutes.

I have had to shut off and turn back on my Droid in order for it to get mail. It's a pain, but it beats getting a new (refurbished) phone and have to start all over. Luckily, as far as fetching email goes, I've never had to do a battery pull.

I am also having trouble getting my emails from AOL account. Been back to the store twice and they say it is working, but I have 8 emails in the que that I can see on the computer that have not gone to my phone. How can I fix this? I have remove and then added the account 3 times.

Same issue, but mine is with Yahoo. Just realized that any e-mail I've sent over the last three days haven't gone through and it's not fetching e-mails either. Did a battery pull this morning and instead of keeping my Yahoo as one of my "added" accounts, I removed it and downloaded the Yahoo app. Over sixty emails came through, but all the ones I have sent between Saturday and now are missing and never reached the intended recipients. Tested it by sending an email from work account just now and everything seems to be okay. Perhaps AOL has an app you can use?

I found an app, but I like being able see at the top that there is new mail. That is one reason I bought the phone. Now it is not working...so what am I paying for? I need to go to the store again and see if they can find out what changed. It worked on Sat and then stopped......

Thank you all for the replies. You can set up an AOL account as an IMAP or a POP3. Please click on the following link to try one or the other.
