data usage on Droid

Hi,

Just got the Droid and have the 29.99 data plan. How much usage can i get with this before i go over and get charged more fees?

Not "supposedly" unlimited.  It IS unlimited.  You won't get charged any overage fees.  You can use the web 24-7 for the whole month, if you were so inclined and never slept. :smileyhappy:

It's unlimited for what your phone can consume in a month.  It does not, however, include tethering (using your phone as a high-speed modem for your computer or laptop).

It's not out of the mothership's power to decide to impose limits on "unlimited" when people start getting too crazy with their data useage.

So why if the 29.99 plan is unlimited they offer a $40 something plan??? __________________________________________________________________ That's probably the "corporate" plan you're refering to. My wife has that plan so she can access her work e-mail from her phone.
