I have a generic cigarette lighter type power connection on my motorcycle for operating peripheral devices such as satellite radio and cell phones. Have successfully operated both, together or singly, for several years including previous Motorola droids. Today, when I plug in new Droid mini, it shuts off. Battery 96%, other peripheral devices working properly. Phone indicates charging when connected. Works fine when plugged in to a variety of wall chargers. Works fine on its own battery. Any ideas?

masterscuba We would love to answer your device questions. While most generic chargers work with many devices, there is not a guarantee the cigarette charger is compatible with your Droid mini. I have purchased generic chargers that wouldn't work with certain devices. We have car vehicle chargers that will work great with your Verizon Wireless devices. http://vz.to/17ycvC
