I am having a hard time answering my phone. I try to slide the green bar to the right to answer and it refuses to slide so I miss my call. Is anyone having this issue and if so how are you solving it. I tried cleaning the face of the phone with an alcohol prep and that seems to take care of it temporarily but don't know if alcohol is good for the phone
I sort of had the same thing when I first got my Droid. I was not pressing hard enough on the green bar to slide it across and it would just snap back. Try holding down a little harder. That seems to work for me. As for alcohol, I'd stay away from that -- I presume you have a screen protector installed and if not, do it. liquids around these delicate toys can be deadly.
You have to experiment a little. Make sure you keep your finger on the screen as you swipe it to the right. Sometimes it will take 2 --3 time for my Droid to respond.
