X won't turn on?
AluminumFalcon

I left my apartment this morning with the battery at about 50%.  The battery level started to fall slowly throughout the morning while I was texting and doing other random stuff.  After lunch, I take the phone out of my pocket and it is off and will not turn back on, so just assume the battery died.

However, when I connected the phone to the USB on my computer via the USB connector that came with the phone, the green light at the top comes on but the phone will still not turn on. Any ideas?  Do I have to have the wall charger to turn it back on?

Anything will help, thanks.

I do have an idea....the phone doesn't have enough juice to power when you initially plugged in the charger.  give it about 15 - 20 min and then you can power on.  same thing happened to me with my original droid.

hope it's fine.

DJ nailed it.

When the phone powered down from a dead battery, it will take a few minutes for the phone to restart once connected to a charger. My guesss is that that this process will take even longer when connected to a computer's USB port.
