Will not send e-mail

I have Comcast as my e-mail provider. I can receive mail just fine but the phone will not send. I get no error but all outgoing mail stays in the outbox. How can I get them to send?? Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked the port for your SMTP and the server name? They should be
smtp.comcast.net and the port number is 587. Do not check the two boxes below the port number.
