Unlikely.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I hope you're wrong about that.

Me too, but between HTC and Verizon it could be a complete toss-up.

I have it on good authority that it'll be the second Tuesday of next week.

If you're talking about KitKat (4.4). Here's one interesting article concerning that Android OS and its' availability.

I asked that question because i saw where my phone started being sold by VZW on or about 7/5/12 and a few days later on or about 7/9/12 the 1st version of JB (4.1) came out. I bought the inc 4g the 1st week of 12/12.
Now here it is over a year later from the 1st JB (4.1) update and my phone is still running ICS (4.0).

The correct answer is never.
Lesson learned. Now i have a second thing to look for when buying a new phone. The first thing being the voice/call quality of the phone.
That second thing being which OEM updates their phones fastest to the latest OS.
My first smartphone purchase was the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. What a lousy experience.
Goodbye HTC.
