By far the best program for any android device is a good task killer.  I use Advanced task killer and have no issues with it.

advanced task killer is amazing.. astro is good too.. its a filemanager...

Crb79, there have been many debations on whether task killer is really helpful. In an article I read it mentions that task killer is not needed for android phones.

 

There are so many apps out there to pick from, but these are the essential apps I would recommend:

  • aTrackDog
  • AntiDroidTheft
  • Google Maps
  • RingDroid
  • SMS Backup
  • Where's My Droid

I am using helix launcher. I LOVE SPC = super private conversation. They say not tyo use advanced task killer but I still use it. DO NOT use an anti virus. Its not needed and can cause problems.
