I have ordered my X and thought I would do some searching on this phone while I wait for it to get here. I am a newbie to this type of phone and very excited for its arrival. I stumbled on to this forum and was so thrilled to be able to read all the helpful advice and found some great messages for things "NOT TO DO"...I would appreciate any advice on : Things to do or not to do  before I even open the box....................................................Thanks for all the great info !!!!!

Do NOT break it

Do NOT expect everything to be perfect

Do NOT remove the sticker w/ the ESN on it behind the battery, leave it there so you can remove the battery later.

Yep, pretty much what they said. But let me reiterate, don't pull out the thing that says Pull in the battery compartment. Thats the battery tab for removing the battery.

Yeah...

My girlfriend did that...

And tossed it

 

 

So... yeah, i totally don't have my ESN or ANY of the info on the back of the phone...
