What Camera Setting Should I Use To Get Pictures Developed?

So I went to Walgreen's today to get some pics developed (4x6's) from my phone. I have both the widescreen (6MP) and large (8MP) pics on here. After I got them back from being developed they were very blurry, grainy, and just not decent quality.

The machine says my pics do not fit the needed photo size or something.

Anyone else have this problem? Should I resize them? Thanks for any help.

Ao usually auto is what i set mine on an since ginger you can't change the Iso an you would think no but using the flash outdoors

can help produce a better picture. But compared to Droid Inc. The pictures R not as good as before the ginger update now if they

come up with a minor update it may improve the quality. Now on my Dinc. it take really good picture day or Night an it has really

good Camera Setting. If the X had the settings the Dinc had it would be a suburb picture Taker Because it has a real Shutter built

into it like the more expensive Digital Cameras. Like:  sony , Panasonic , Minolta , Pentax , Its bad they pute a good camera into it

an used  Crappy software to run it . But Moto like to do things like this an they wonder why so many people Complain the Proof is

in the Puddding. :smileyvery-happy:

If you are using one of those Kodak or similar photo printing stations, the pictures will suck just because that machine sucks.

I've sent pictures to Walmart online from my phone with the 8mp setting and they turned out GREAT.  My wife has even done with with her Original Droid and they turn out good.

+1, I have noticed that also that the Kodak machines doesnt always do the clearest exposures, I have printed at home with printer and kodak photo paper and shors have camr out great.

I haven't had the opportunity to get printed pictures of the shots taken with my phone. However for my digital camera, I had to go through every picture either at home or on the photo upload machines and verify exactly how I want each photo to be cropped. Most photos were fine, but others would have lead to people/objects getting cut off. All because of the aspect ratio of the 5mp camera was different from the default photo prints' aspect ratio.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I believe they are Fuji Films machines, but yea they are not the best in the world. I may try the Walmart thing. Thanks.

The problem with most of those machines is that they rely on 10 year old technology.  They were great when you were dealing with 1MP pictures.  Sure they added Bluetooth support to most of them, but they never increased the printing resolution.

Give the Walmart thing a try, I think Walgreens and CVS/Jewel offers the same service.  Upload the pictures from the website and they will print on their photo machine.  They even cost a fraction of the kiosk price.  I think my last batch of 100 pictures ran like $5.
