OK probably going to show my age group, but I'm having a heck of a time deleting "Uploaded Images" in my gallery. The phone fools me by allowing me to select image(s) or select all, but won't give me a DELETE option. I've even tried connecting via my laptop and doing it there, but no options again to delete.
Does anyone have the secret formula how I can delete these images from my phone?

After you selected an image and it is showing on the display, did you then press the MENU button (lower left corner of the phone)? When you do this you should see Delete.

Yup sure did. that's when you get no "delete" option...called Verizon and they said the Samsung Charge is causing a lot of people grief like iit si in my situation, only remedy was to reset to factory and dump all memory from internal phone. Not sure what Samsung is thinking not allowing us to manage our internal memory, but def not smart.

WAIT...don't do a factory reset yet!!!
Try this first. Connect your phone to your PC and copy all your images in your Gallery images to a folder in your PC so you have a copy.
Then because you are cable connected delete or move everything out of your Gallery. It should empty. Now disconnect your phone and reboot it. Then use your phone to take a picture and see if you can delete that picture.
If all is working properly re-connect to your PC and copy ONLY those images that you want to keep into your Gallery. Also, if the problem re-occurs again after putting the images back into your phone your problem may be with one of the images and NOT your phone so you will know what to do.
Good luck...please tell me if this "crazy" idea worked. By the way, you might guess, I HATE factory resets!!!

Verizon did give me a path via HOME then My Files then DCIM and then
CAMERA, problem no CAMERA once I got to DCIM...aaaggghh. why did Samsung
lock the internal memeroy down like that?

DCIM with no Camera folder probably means that there are no pictures there. Take a couple of photos with your camera and then go back to DCIM.

I'll try, but it's the 50 unwanted "uploaded images" in my gallery I need
to delete. Is there a reformat function for the internal memory or will
that render the phone useless?
