I had the same problem and it kept getting worse. Went to local office and all they did was send me a replacement phone.
Wish I had found this thread first. After less than a month, the "new" phone is doing the same. I tried Noah's solution below and it seems to be working. It's a workaround, but if it lets me answer incoming calls, it's an improvement.
