Is there a way to turn roam off or constanly on so, if I'm driving/roaming and the phone tells me to enter the entire 10 digit number I don't kill somebody else driving while dialing? I mean really! If your in a situation where you need to use roam you're most likely driving and, on a stretch of road you've never been down before and its not to your advantage to be dialing in the first place? Just a suggestion from a driving customer.

I thought all phone calls are 10 digit now. Where do you live?

Menu > settings > wireless and network > mobile networks > from there you can turn off data roaming but I dont think you can for calls, since Verizon doesn't charge for roaming with these phone plans.
I for one have never had to put in my number, that is really weird.
