Ok, I've searched for this problem, have seen it several times, but haven't come up with a solution.
My texts appear as "text message not sent" on every text that I send to this contact; I've never had any problems texting this person before. We are facebook friends and so his number appears twice in his contact, once the way I had originally entered it and again the way it appears on facebook with the +1. I've tried every which way and it just doesn't work. It's not on his end, he still gets texts from people. I tried installing handcents so that I could delete all failed messages and it didn't help. Now i'm stuck. This is a big problem. Don't want to reset my phone or anything, there has to be a fix for this right?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your inquiry. I do agree with the postings from the members. If someone has blocked you from calling or texting, it would be the cause of what you are experiencing. However, calling the carrier will not change the decision to remove the block. If you blocked some from calling or texting you, would you want that same person to be able to call your service provider to remove the block you placed on your line? If so, I suggest you not seek to restore the connection until you know the other person wishes to allow the calls or text to go through. They opted to have the connect blocked for the time being at their personal discretion.

Also if you are having trouble sending with one and only one person, the odds are that the problem is on their end and not necessarily yours.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

It sounds like you've been blocked.
