I lost all my text messages. How can I retrieve them?

You cant. Be sure to go into the settings of the stock nessaging program and either shut off auto delete after 200 messages or raise the number at which point messages will be auto deleted.

My auto delete is not on and I still lost all my text messages 2 weeks ago! This is the second time it has happened to me.

OUCH......

 

Then be sure to download an app to save messages. I uses SMS Backup and all ,messages are sent to the email address I chose.

 

I just set up a gmail acccount just for text messages.

This same thing happened to me, I took my phone into the local corporate store that I bought it from. After being in the store about 45 minutes I was told that they could not find anything wrong with my phone. My phone was not set to delete after 200 messages. It would delete EVERYTHING! I was sent a referbished phone...I don't like that I've had this phone 2 months and it's doing that. I didn't pay $163.00 to be given a referbished phone....don't like that at all!!!
