Received a system update notification this morning.  What does this do?

It might be a date fix for the wireless tethering. Haven't seen it on mine..

How old is the phone? Maybe it is the ED2 update.

No, it's got a bunch of things that look like it will adress many of the issues we're having.  I'm not sure if it will do anything about 3G sensitivity:

Will this UNROOT a rooted phone? I suspect yes.

I haven't rooted, but I think from what I've read you won't be able to perform the update until you go back 'pre-root'.  But I'm far from an expert on things 'rooted'.

mine has yet to update.. even factory reset it to try to fix another problem i was having, but my phone keeps telling system is up to day, when in fact it is not. tried when i was out today with the 4G coverage, still nothing wish i could force it to look for an update.

It forces randomly to avoid congestion on network.

I didnt get mien yet either (probably becuase I jsut got the phoen replaced and the EE2 reforced yesterday).

Oddly neither did one of the girls that works at the verizon store, but the other co-worker did lol).
