The droid is making me set it up manually and I went back to the verizon store today and the lady said she couldn't help me at all.
I googled my question and while there are people having the same issue, they do not have the droid 2 so I do not have the same setup as them and can't get my account to get setup.
Anyone that can help me I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you so much!

You are talking about Hotmail. I too use it, and it can be a pain. Every so often I get the little triangle that tells me that there is something wrong with my Hotmail. Don't know why, since everything is the same. So I normally ignore it and it goes away. Do you have the correct port numbers and security answers? If not, I can give them to you. By the way, I get this "you are wrong" message on both my Droid 2 and my Droid X. Have you tried powering off and then powering back on. That sometimes solves THAT nuisance problem.

Do you mind giving me the port info and such? I think I have the correct information but I could be wrong. I am willing to try anything to get it to work!
Thanks alot!

Okay, this is a long shot, but do you have Hotmail coming to your computer too? Did you use the absolutely same username and password on your Droid as you have on your computer? If you used a different one on the Droid, try changing it to what you are using on your computer.

I check my email with my computer browser if that is what you mean and I only have one username and password for the windows live account so that is the one I entered into the droid.
So I can always check that email account by just going through the browser on the droid I was just trying to make it a little easier on me by setting up the account this way.
Thanks for your help

Windows Live now allows exchange connections. Go into Settings>Accounts>Add Account type "Corporate"
Username: full hotmail email address
Password: hotmail password
server: m.hotmail.com
Use Secure Connection is checked

Ok so I tried the corporate sync and it appears as if it will go through but it says that it can't connect.
It says to enter the email address and password. It then has a box for domain and username which are optional so I did not enter anything into those two boxes and thats when I get the message that it can't connect to the account.

Something just isn't right here. May I suggest that you remove your Hotmail account. Then re-install it. You might just have a typo that you are not seeing, it happens.
