SERIOUS 2.2 Glith help needed

I have been reading about this on the internet and don't know what to do, but certainly can't live with this glitch long and can't imagine the carriers can legally live with it.  Once I upgraded my Droid 2 software to 2.2 last week, I noticed a new glitch (among others, but this one is BAD!!)  When I text message pops up on the screen and I hit the reply button just below the new message, instead of replying to that person, it replies to whomever *I* was texting last!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hopefully you can see the serious potential of this glitch.  It is very consistent with my phone.  Any solutions in the mill???  I have seen on other tech boards that others are starting to scream with the same concern.

@juline

Are you using stock messanger?

I send over 50 a day, and have never had this issue.

Have you tried a battery pull and a factory reset?

Try doing a hard reset. I hav e provided the steps to completing the hard reset below. Hope this helps!

  1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab(located at the bottom of the display).

  2. Touch Settings.

  3. Touch Privacy.

  4. Touch Factory Data Reset.

  5. Touch Reset Phone.
    Note If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.

  6. Touch Erase Everything.

Casonia,

After a Factory Reset, how do I get all the apps I paid for on Market back on my phone?  Do I have to pay for them again?

The apps are tied to your google account. They will show up in the market as purchased, you can download them again anytime.
