I was deleting photos from my SD card and was working fine. I had to restart the phone as I had some trouble launching different applications and when I rebooted the phone I got an error saying the SD card was damaged. I removed and replaced the card and battery and rebooted the phone without success. Any way to interrogate or repair the card or to retrieve the data from the card?

I had a similar problem with the phone not reading the sd card. I have an SD to microsd card adapter for my computer so I ended up just backing it up to the computer since it didn't have any problems reading it and reformatted the card.

The computer will not recognize the card when connected. I decided simply to reformat the card but the reformat function on the phone does not work. Any other insight short of buying a new card?
Thanks for your help.

You might can take the one that went bad into a verizon store and they might cut you a deal.
I saw a lady walk out a couple of months ago with a 16 gb for 15 dollars.
