Is there any way to retrieve my contact list which was accidentally deleted (I still don't know how!) by a friend?

Log into your my verizon.

Hover over my verizon in the red bar at the top

go to manage my contacts

they will show up there if you have them backed up

you will see sync to phone in the top right

Also, you can sync back up assistant from your phone. If you have an iphone, it would be vz contact transfer. If you do either, ensure that you have NO contacts AT ALL. NONE. Otherwise, back up assistant will backup that list and replace it with the one you want.
