Re-boot & multiple force-close issues/Phone storage low/text messages full/duplicate textx

Within the past week, I have started to experience multiple issues with my droid. The most common being that the phone will freeze and re-boot, sometimes more than once a day.

Earlier in the week, I started to receive notifications that the phone storage is low. This was followed by the text-messages are full notification.

The camera has needed to be force-closed a lot in both camera and video mode or when opening the camera, the screen looks garbled..

.For some incoming text messages, I have received duplicate messages back to back.

Most of these have all started within the past week and I have not added any new apps.

Try doing a soft reset, below is a link to follow for soft reset process.

As for your text messages:

Memory varies by device – refer to your device's User Guide for details. The number of messages that can be stored is determined by the capacity available on your device. Please note that once your inbox is full, you will not be able to receive new messages until you delete old messages to create additional space. MIne does the same thing. App lock up. Have to force close.

I've uninstalled all non-critical app.

Removed all syncing.

Turned off all locators, wireless and GPS.

Turned off all automatic updates.

Still very poor response time to access home or apps displays.

Can't even use the phone until it clears.

I've used soft reset and batery removal reboot repeatedly.

I want to know what I'm going to do when I need to access the phone in emergency.

My next step is the Verizon store.

I'm hoping there is a fix for this...

Very disappointed at this point. It's been going on for about a month or so now.

This is a system error. A factory reset will your issues. The steps to performing the reset are listed below:

1. Hold Home Button and press power (continue to hold until you see the triangle with an asterisk like in step 2)

2. Screen will show a Android with a triangle with asterisk

3. Let Go of Home Button and Power

4. Press Search Button (Far Right Button)

5. A blue menu will show at top of page, scroll to Format Device

6. Select Yes to verify

7. Allow format to complete (Information at bottom of page will go through a few steps)

8. Once Format is complete Blue Menu will show at top again, select Reboot

9. Sometimes phone hangs after reboot and will take a while but if no response after 5 - 10 minutes, pull the battery and reinsert. (Device usually starts fine after this)
