I'm trying to add music to my new Droid X and use Ringdroid to create a few ringtones, but V Cast Media Manager on my PC won't recognize my phone...what gives??? I've tried all the USB ports on my PC, but nothing helps.

I'm having the same problems. Did you ever figure out a fix?

I had the same problem, it didn't seem to want to work. However after I got my computer to install drivers for the phone, I was able to drag and drop ringtones and music after opening the device folders in "my computer".

I've got the same issue! I've followed all the troubleshooting tips and then some and am still at a loss. This Droid X is slowly becoming the bane of my existence. I bought 2 on launch and have had issues with barely audible ringers and alarms on both, crippled (at best) Wi-Fi on one of them but not the other, and now this supposedly easier sync software is effectively wasting space on my computer. Support is lackluster at best or ignorant and unsympathetic at worst; I'm beginning to regret making the switch to Verizon.
