I checked the board for past messages, saw one pertaining to my problem, but no help. In a nutshell, my notification light does not blink it's green eye when I receive an Email. I checked settings, and checkd off SMS/MMS, EMail, Voice Mail, Reminders, and Alarms. The light should blink for any one of the checked off items. It should, but it isn't. Anyone else have or had this problem and did you fix it. There are certain times I put my phone in silent mode and rely on the notification light.

Don't feel bad. Nobody else, including me, does either. So, I guess I live with it. BTW, the rep. did inform me that an upgrade will be coming shortly to take care of some of these irritating problems. Shades of Windows, and I know Bill Gates did not write the Android OS.

Yup! I checked everyplace where I thought I might find something which would help. Nope, no such luck. I even lowered myself and went to one of out local VZW stores and talked to one of the service people there. Yes, I trust them since they have helped me several times. No luck there either. One thing the rep told me, the notification light blinks green for only five minutes and then shuts off. So, unless I'm holding it in my hand, I would never know. The Droid X's light blinked until you checked the notification. A down side for Incredible.

I hope the update fixes it for the Incredible. I will just have to live with it on my Eris. No updates are expected for it. I'll let you know if the Aria does it whenever I get it.
